He was predeceased by: his parent John Bowen; his sister Betty Ficken; his wife Janet L. Bowen; and his sons, George W. Kearns, III and Jeffery M. Kearns.
He is survived by: his parent Bessie Bowen (Purdham); his children, Darryl L. Bowen and Allison Domer (Daryl); his grandchildren, Melody J. Bowen, Tanner D. Bowen and Alyssa Ortega; and his children, Keith Bowen and Chris Jeter. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
