With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martin Altman (Hagerstown, Maryland), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on March 3, 2018 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Matthew Altman; and his sister Myrna Chernet. He is survived by: his parents, Benjamin Altman and Ethel Altman (Lerner); his wife Elizabeth Horton Altman; and his children, Adam Altman (Michelle) of Arlington, Susan Bladen (Tim) of Portland and Joseph Altman (Kathy) of Thompson Fall. He is also survived by three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Martin's name to St. Andrew Presbyterian Church or to Hospice of Washington County.
