She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Long and Freida Long (Roser); her husband Harold Lee "Murph" Sprankle, Sr.; and her children, Bernive V. Sprankle and Harold L. Sprankle, Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, Robert E. Sprankle and David L. Sprankle; and her siblings, Doris Sprankle of Hagerstown, MD, Ruth Long, Margaret Smith of Hagerstown, MD, Junior Long of Hagerstown, MD, Robert Long of Hagerstown, MD, Frank Long of Hagerstown, MD and Sam Long, Jr.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
