He is survived by: his parent Gertie Ray Toms (Barkman); his spouse Margaret "Peggy" Toms (Williams); his son Gary A. Toms; his grandsons, Gary A. Toms, Jr. and Jason A. Toms; his great grandchild Heavenly S. Toms; his stepdaughter Susan K. Carpenter (Alvin); his stepgrandson Christopher Carpenter; his sister-in-law Catherine Taylor; and also, Zack Carpenter, Sammy and Scott A. Taylor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
