It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Irene Dixon (Hagerstown, Maryland), born in Williamsport, Maryland, who passed away on June 10, 2018, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Daniel Ellsworth Mowen; her siblings, Daniel Mowen Jr., Harry Mowen, Donald Mowen Sr. and Maude Kaplan of Mary Thomas; and her siblings' children, Daniel Mowen III, Herman Mowen and Debby Jamieson.
She is survived by: her parent Martha Elizabeth Bartles Mowen; her husband Howell Gardner Dixon; her daughter Cathy Dixon Slone (Robert) of Falling Waters, WV.; her sister Martha Ruth Detrow of South Bend, IN; and her sibling's children, Harry Luther Mowen, Harriet Pryor, Donald Mowen Jr., Beverly Mowen, Constance Thomas, William Kaplan, Susie Schleeper, Dwayne Detrow and Daphne Stewart.
