She was predeceased by: her parent Edgar E. Smith; her former husband Charles E. Moats; her sister Rayetta Gordon; her nephew Brian Lee Smith; and her aunt Lorraine Davis.
She is survived by: her parent Helen L. Smith (Davis); her children, Gary (Cindy Moats) of Marlow, WV, Tiran (Theresa Moats) of Hagerstown, MD, Lisa Hahn of Dover, DE and Wesley (Donna Moats) of Williamsport, MD; her brothers, Ronald (Elaine Smith) and Gary (Cheryl Smith); and her grandchildren, Bradley, Travis, Cody, Daniel Moats, Zachary Hahn and Hannah Moats. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
