She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Fishbaugh and Mary Jane Fishbaugh; her significant other Joseph Edward Bayer, Sr.; and her son David Edward Bayer, Sr. (Stephanie). She is survived by : her children, Theresa Lynn Schilling (Edward W. Schilling, Jr.) and Joseph Edward Bayer, Jr.; her sisters, Shirley Smithers, Sharon Otto and Lois Rebetsky; her grandchildren, Edward William Schilling III (Erin), Michael Joseph Schilling (Johane), Taylor Nicole Schilling, Candace Bayer, David Bayer, Jr. and Jason Bayer; and her great grandchildren, Nathaniel and Kellen Calvert.

For those wishing the family has requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
