He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Austin, and John Austin, Sr.; his son Rick; and his siblings, John Austin, Jr., Laura Goodman and Richard Austin.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Austin (Betty); his children, Dee Carroll (Scotty), Gerry Martin (John), Dawn Garvey (Pat), Terry Burkett and William Austin, Jr.; his grandchildren, Danielle, John, Megan, Melanie of Joe, PJ, Justin and Caitie; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Brooks, Abigail, Ben, Riley, Jameson, Tera, Jacob, Ally and Adam; and his brother Robert Austin. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ambrose Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1328 Sulphur Spring Rd, Halethorpe, MD 21227). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of the Ascension (4603 Poplar Ave, Halethorpe, MD 21227).
