He was predeceased by : his parents, James B. Owen Sr. and Dorothy Hilton Owen; and his close friend Evelyn Gullett. He is survived by : his son Jeffrey Owen; his siblings, Stephen Owen and Laurie Thoner; his stepchildren, Sherry Wood and Jamie Gullett; his stepgranddaughter Olivia Young; and his stepgreat-grandson Logan Becker.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Angel Hill Cemetery (750 Ohio St, Havre De Grace, MD 21078).

Jimmy will always be remembered for his great sense of humor, kindness, giving nature and his quiet and meaningful contributions to the lives of others.
