She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Lyle, May DePuy, John and Isabelle Ruggles; her parents, George Ruggles and Mary Ruggles; her aunt Sarah Flatery; her uncles, Richard DePuy and John "Jack" Ruggles; her sisters, Catherine Parks and Mary Ann Geiger; her nephews, John Ellis, Jr., Robert Ellis and Brian Jackson; and her daughter Scilla Ellis.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Turner, Doreen Hambrick of Edgewood, MD, Sharon Lee (Harry), Darrell Ellis, Sr. (Helen) of Aberdeen, MD, Keith Ellis (Samantha) and Pumpkin Johnson (Alfred) of Havre de Grace, MD.; and her brothers, Lyle Ruggles (Margorie) and Bob Geiger of Cleveland, OH. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lisa Scott Funeral Home (552 Lewis St, Havre De Grace, MD 21078). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
