She was predeceased by: her son Peder Garske (Michelle); her parents, Paul and Elsie; and her sister Dorothy. She is survived by: her husband Robert Garske (Bob); her children, Joanna Sacks (Jeff), Sarah Garske (Nathan), Wilma, Pebbles Flintstones and Halloween; her grandsons, Andrew, Jonathan and Marcus; and her sibling's children, Ann, Donal, Jack and Tom.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Augsburg Lutheran Village Resident Care Fund, attention of Philanthropy Department, 6825 Campfield Road, Baltimore, MD 21207.
