It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Gennantonio of Highland, Maryland, born in Thomas, West Virginia, who passed away on March 31, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Lamont and Josephine Lamont; and her brothers, Sam Lamont, Philip Lamont, James Lamont and Joe Lamont.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Gennantonio; her children, Michael Gennantonio of Glen Burnie, MD and Tricia Gilmore-Gennantonio; her grandchildren, Hunter, Grayson, Griffyn and Saylor; and her sister Carmella "Camay" Popish (Pat) of College Park, MD..
Since Josephine was a breast cancer survivor, donations can be made to the Brest Cancer Research Foundation or the Susan G. Komen Foundation in lieu of flowers.
