She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Joy and Lena Joy; her husband Robert "Bob" Remmel; and her siblings, Eunice Gatton, Mildred Crichfield, Herbert Joy, Marion Joy and Marvin Joy.
She is survived by : her daughter Gayle Remmel Bonasorte; her son-in-law Joe Bonasorte; her son Barry Nelson Remmel of Ponce; her siblings, Juanita Buchanan of Hollywood, Elwood Joy (Marge) of Hollywood and Arnold Joy (Loretta) of Williamsport, Maryland.; her grandchildren, Lois Windham of Spring, Austin Remmel of Mt. Washington, Rebecca Windsor (Joey) of Dameron, Corey Bonasorte (Stephanie) of Belmont, Leah Burke (Sean) of Woodstock and Douglas Remmel of Ponce; and her great grandchildren, Amaya Remmel, Lilly Remmel, MacKenzie Windsor, Alexander Tink, Joshua Tink, Alexandra Burke and Grace Burke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Because of the unfortunate concerns caused by the Covid 19 Coronavirus, regular memorial services are impossible at this time.
