In loving memory of Franklin Garfield Wood Sr. of Huntingtown, Maryland, who departed this world on May 16, 2024 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Wilmer Sr. and Evelyn Wood (Buckmaster); his siblings, Donna, Larry and Roy "Wilmer"; his grandson William Harrison Stauffer; and his great grandchild Savannah Marie Boutaugh.

He is survived by : his wife Joan Priscilla (Harrison); his children, Robin Stauffer (Brian), JoAnn Fauth (Steve), Franklin Jr. "Gary" Wood (Linda) and Bryan Wood (Jeannie); his grandchildren, Patrick, Alexander, Stephanie, Lindsay, Julia, Adam, Benjamin, Lauren, Leah and Amanda; his great grandchildren, Wesley, Brooks, Jameson, Franco, Rosie, Madilyn, Lillian and Audrey Joan; and his siblings, Charles Wood (Betty Ann), Janet Barna (Jack), Nancy Osbourn (Dwight) and Kaye Peterson (Bernie).

Visitation was held on Monday, June 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rausch Funeral Home-Owings (8325 Mt Harmony Ln, Owings, MD 20736). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, family and friends are encouraged to gather and tell a story over a cold beverage and donate to a charity of his or her choice.
