She was predeceased by: her father Leo Edmonds; and her brothers, Jeffrey and Leon. She is survived by: her mother Emily Gadson Edmonds; her husband James V. Holland; her children, Janel Tapscott, Yetta Gilchrist (William Jr.), Derrick Tapscott Jr. (Katherine), Sandra Mendez and Heidi Jensen; and her grandchildren, Keisha, Billy, Laytoya, Derrick, Jazmine and Lauren. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Jenkins Funeral Home (7474 Landover Rd, Hyattsville, MD 20785).
