With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Edward Gardenhour Sr. of Cheverly, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on April 12, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph O. Gardenhour and LaFerne M. Otto Gardenhour. He is survived by : his wife Ann Crisp Gardenhour; his sons, Charles Gardenhour Jr. (Sandy) and Christopher Gardenhour (Kathy); his siblings, Richard Gardenhour and Jeanette McCullough; and his grandchildren, Brandon, Jonathan (Nina), Benjamin, Hannah, John (Meagan), Robert and James.

A reception was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gasch's Funeral Home (4739 Baltimore Ave, Hyattsville, MD 20781).

The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, any charitable donations be made to Capital Region Honor Flight in memory of Charles "Bud" Edward Gardenhour Sr. Capital Region Honor Flight (https://capitalregion.honorflight.org) recognizes the bravery, determination, and patriotism of senior Veterans in the DC, MD, and DE area.
