She is survived by: her husband Michael; her children, Melissa Glover (Michael), Joseph Smoot (Tangela), Rita Smoot White and Christina Harris Jones; her stepdaughters, Marjorie Wingate and Michelle McCord; her siblings, Thomas Smoot and Veronica Matthews; her sister-in-law Debra Moses; her grandchildren, Robert, Rodney Grant, Joseph Smoot, Jr., Brenee Ruffin, Tatyana Shelton, Tyree Shelton, Steven Smith, Isis White, Indya White and Christiana Jones; her great grandchildren, Zoey, Imani, Jordyn, Robert IV, Siya, Rodney, Jr. and Milo; her siblings' children, Eddie Smoot, Michael (John Wood), Richard (Derek Matthews), Ronald Smoot, Janice Proctor, Barbara Wood, Cynthia Carter, Erica Williams, Lisa Lyles and Carla Lyles; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Marc, Andre, Jared, Darius, Darren, Cortez, Giovonne, Gabrielle, Giselle, Keyonna and Tashea. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
