He was predeceased by : his parents, Champ Rushing and Wanda Lee Whiteside Rushing. He is survived by : his wife Karen Clinard Rushing; his children, Susan Rushing (Karl Richter), Shannon Park (Nick Park), Elizabeth, Kaitlyn, Jonathan, Kieran Richter, Gabriel, Sarah Park and Nathan Rushing, III (Emily Rushing); and his siblings, Donna Mason (John Mason), Bonnie Morrow (Michael Morrow) and Roger Rushing (Leigh Rushing).
