He was predeceased by : his mother Bonnie Burns; and his grandparents, Robert, Rose Marie Melby, Donald and Judy Burns.

He is survived by : his pet Brant; his father Michael Melby Sr.; his stepmother Lori of Jefferson, MD; his siblings, Samantha Cressman (Josh) of Mechanicsville, VA, Jacqui Clem (Dustin) of Point, Heather Lowery (Stephen) of Brunswick, MD and Robert of Brunswick; and his stepbrothers, Steven Lloyd (Leah), Andrew Lloyd and Jeffrey Lloyd (Samantha). He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews, and many, many loving Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
