She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Leaverton Legg and Marie Bennett Legg; her son-in-law R. George Hopkins; her brother Franklin Legg Sr.; and her husband Edmund P. Lusby, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Harriett L. Elburn (Carl), Linda A. Baker (Ed), Sandra M. Hopkins and Edmund P. Lusby Jr.. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
