She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Byrd McMullen; her daughter Deborah K. McMullen; and her grandson Ian Richard Pape. She is survived by: her children, Karen McMullen, Shaun McMullen and Daniel L. McMullen; and her grandchildren, Brenna Pape, Max McMullen, Sela McMullen, Morris McMullen, Nora McMullen and Myles McMullen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hunger Ministry at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 10401 Armory Ave, Kensington, MD 20895.
