With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Carroll Wilhide of Keymar, Maryland, born in Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on March 3, 2021 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Carroll Wilhide to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Carroll M. Wilhide and Edith V. Yoder Wilhide; his granddaughters, Hope Yvonne Myers and Isabelle Rose Wilhide; his sister Jane Coffman; his siblings-in-law, Joyce Wilhide, Mariann Saloom, Tim and John Seibert; and his former life partner Cassie Seibert Wilhide.

He is survived by : his spouse Elyne "Elly" Wilhide; his children, Sue (John Mike Myers), Chris (Greg Kane), Julie (Richard Devilbiss) and Andy Wilhide (Bobbie); his siblings, Myron Wilhide and Beth Cross (Gary); his siblings-in-law, Dena Seibert, Sally Seibert, Barbara Seibert, Jackie Wilson, Ben Coffman, Jim Seibert (Anne), Paul Seibert (Sherry) and Rodney Saloom; his grandchildren, Jenna (Justin Shriver), Nikki (Garrett Martin), Faith, Sarah, Nathan, Evan Myers, Grace, Doori, Declan Kane, Samantha, Jessica Devilbiss, Maddie, Mackenzie, John, Josie and Meredithe Wilhide; and his great grandchildren, Noah, Caleb, Joanna Shriver, Melody and Adaline Martin.

A funeral service will be held at the church on Tuesday at 11 a. m. Wearing masks and social distancing will be observed.
