It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn June Watts in La Plata, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Nelson and Helen Zimmerman Nelson; her husband Shirley "Lee" Watts; and her sisters, Dottie and Bernice.
She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Lee DiMaggio and Craig Watts; her grandchildren, Lisa Barge and Phillip DiMaggio III; her great grandchildren, Phillip DiMaggio IV, Niki DiMaggio, Andrew DiMaggio and Rachael Barge; her great great grandchildren, Daenerys and Helena Damron; and her sister-in-law Janice Dickerson.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Genesis La Plata Center, who compassionately prayed and cared for her the last month of her life.
