She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dewey Taylor and Stelle Mae Taylor; her husband John Leonard Tayman; her grandson Brian Tayman; and her siblings, Myrtle Taylor Stamp, George Taylor, Rowena Taylor Aquinia, Harold Taylor and Frank Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Terry R. Tayman Shumskis, Glenda G. Tayman Hairfield and John R. Tayman; and her grandchildren, Robert Shumskis II, Nikki Hairfield, Crystal Hairfield and Andrew "Drew" Tayman.
