He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Oswald Bowles and Ann Noema Abell Bowles; his former wife Peggy Ann Bowles; and his sisters, Ann Theresa Jones and Catherine Genevieve Bowles.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Klein; his stepdaughter Cathy Ann Klein-Glover (Bill); his daughters, Paula Ann Deister (Don) and Joanne Marie Sharp (Mel); and his grandchildren, Brianne Lynn Montgomery (Paul), Andrew Robert Sharp, Matthew Thomas Sharp, Laurel Glover and James Glover. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
