She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Lee and Mary Alice Simpkins Kilgore; her grandchildren, David and Jami; her siblings, Joyce McGee, Freddie Kilgore and Kenneth Kilgore; her former husband David Grove; her son Kyle Kilgore (Dawn); her grandchildren, Jiahndria Lozano-Day and Jamison Kilgore; and her great grandchild Zhylar Savea. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and friends.
After battling Covid-19, Gwen was called home on January 11, 2022.
