He is survived by: his brother Francis Chervenak (Barbara); his former wife Hazel Moats (Coffman Chervenak); his son Joseph P. Chervenak, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Kimberly Chervenak (Heim); his granddaughters, Madeline A. Chervenak and Catherine M. Chervenak; and his close friend Ana Ortiz.
