It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Mae Wright-Rogers (Laurel, Maryland), born in Hurlock, Maryland, who passed away on February 28, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Pearly Rogers; her sister Bertha Louise Clark; and her grandchildren, Shanitta Sampson and Jerry Wright Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Wright (Joyce) of Preston, MD, Alfonya Wright of Federalsburg, MD and Alvin Wright of Vienna, MD; her granddaughter Tyshika Wright of Cambridge, MD; her great grandchildren, Jeliya Stubbs of Cambridge and Jerel Stubbs Jr of Cambridge; her aunt Ella Mae Holland; and her uncle Ray Wright. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
