It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawanda Genell McVicker (Laurel, Maryland), born in Blackwater, Virginia, who passed away on July 6, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Willard Raymond McVicker; her children, Miriam Joanne McVicker and Blaine McVicker; and her sister Eulah Rae McCracken Lawanda. She is survived by: her son John McVicker (Peggy) of Columbia, MD; her sisters, Betty Trott and Judy Lobue (Mike) of Idaho; her grandchildren, Christopher McVicker (Eliza), Caitlin McVicker of Towson, MD and Kevin McVicker of Houston, TX; her great grandchild Mason Blaine McVicker; and her daughter-in-law Mary McGowen.
