He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elder Jehu and Missionary Georgianna Smack; his wife Edith Jane Ennis Smack; his children, Diane Smack, Herman Smack and Leon Smack, Jr.; his siblings, Mable Smack, Gee Smack, Anna Smack-Stewart, Alberta Smack and Virginia Smack-Prattis; his children, Mary Ann Drummond (Leroy) of Bridgeville and William Harvey Smack of Wilmington; his sisters, Sarah Cummings, Frances Camper of Salisbury and Rosa Handy of Seaford; and his brothers-in-law, Gene Cummings and Emerson Prattis. He was also cherished by three granddaughters, two grandsons, and great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
