She is survived by: her parent Winnie W. F. James; her children, Jean B. Pearce Layton of Milford, DE and Larry C. Brittingham (Linda) of Fairfax, VA; her brother Calvin S. Baker of Delmar, MD; her grandchildren, Gregory J., Carmela M. Brittingham (Joseph) of Sterling, VA and Dane C. Brittingham of Wilmington, NC; her great grandchildren, Alan Pearce (Kirsten), Aaron Pearce (Mia), Brandon Pearce (Zoey), Jonathan E. Pearce, Meaghan V. Pearce and Shannon B. Pearce; her granddaughter Hattie Downing; her friend Lillie; her spouse John "Jack" E. Brittingham; and also Deborah J. Pearce of Waynesboro, VA.
