She was predeceased by: her parents, Bonnie Odell and Lue Lee Bryson; her siblings, Charlie Adele and Carrie Jessie; her husband James Abrams; her son Melvin (Shirley); and her grandson Corey.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby (Diane), Perry (Irene), Ritzie Coleman (Reginald), Betty Gibson Denise McClurkin (Regi) and Gussie; and her brother Robert Bryson. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and a host of family and close friends.
