With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Miyo Wahnschaffer of Laurel, Maryland, who passed away on October 27, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Allen H.; her children, Carol Allen (Lorne), Cindy Wahnschaffe (Michael), Jan Schaefer (Chris), Amy Hoy (Chris) and David Wahnschaffe (Robyn); her siblings, Mitsu Oshiro and Shinyu Akamine; her grandchildren, Danielle, Zachary, Kyle (Jackie), Kaitlin, Garion, Benjamin and Alex; and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Christian and Jetrice.
With limitations made to funeral practices due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all guests are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing per current public health guidelines.
Family wishes donations to be made in Miyo's name to Gilchrist Hospice.
