He was predeceased by: his parents, Esteban Betancourt and Alejandrina [Aquino] Betancourt; and his siblings, Alfonso, Ventura, Antonio, Fabian, Inocencio, Margarita, Norberto, Isabel, Marcial, Aida, Esteban and Luis.
He is survived by: his wife Raquel [Tovar]; his children, Rachel Ann (Don), David (Lynn) and Cindy (Mike); and his grandchildren, John, Kae, Elena, Rachel, Ryan and Grace. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial donations may be made to the Maryland City Volunteer Fire Department; the American Cancer Society; the American Red Cross.
