With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steward Mitchell Sr. (Laurel, Maryland), who passed away on January 6, 2019 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Mitchell and William "Butts" Mitchell; and his siblings, William Mitchell (Billy) and Joyce Horn. He is survived by: his son Stew; his wife Sharon Hall Mitchell; his son Steward Lee Mitchell, Jr.; his wife Kathy Mitchell; and his grandsons, Zachary Ellis Mitchell, Austin Blair Mitchell and Logan Steward Mitchell. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and dear friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.
