He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Owens Sr. and Marie L. Owens. He is survived by: his wife Josephine S. Owens; his sister Betty O. Gales; his children, William H. Owens III (Lynn), Mark S. Owens, Rebecca J. Williams (Larry) and Thomas S. Owens (Lauren); his grandchildren, William H. Owens IV (Alexandra), Rebecca L. Johnson (Ryan), Keith R. Williams (Allison), Kelly J. Williams (Vernon), Shipley T. Owens and Congetta J. Owens; and his great grandchildren, Bridger W. Johnson, Brooke K. Johnson, Joleen M. Owens, Raelyn J. Owens, Emma G. Williams, Billie M. Owens and Kimberly Wolfe (Kelly).
Due to COVID-19 restrictions a private funeral service will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021, at Donaldson Funeral Home.
