He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Schute and Walberga E. Schute (Kastner); and his brother George William Schute. He is survived by: his wife Doris Jean Schute (Leasure); his daughters, Marla Boggs (Terry), Janice Bailey (J. W.) and Debbie Spear (Sam); his grandsons, Vince, Jack Boggs, Shane Bailey (Tasha), Evan Bailey (Kristin), Tyler Spear (Stephanie), Andrew and Austin Spear; his great grandchildren, Weston, Everleigh, Sawyer Bailey, Matthew and Nathan Spear; his sister Rita Detaranto; his sister-in-law Nancy Schute; and his close friends, Mike McCagh and Roger Cannon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jim's name to the WMHS Home Hospice Program, 1050 West Industrial Boulevard, Cumberland, MD 21502.
