He was predeceased by : his parents, Homer Milton Pile and Naomi Pile (Zeigler); his wife Winifred Pile (Lohr); his siblings, Doris and Paul; and his niece Donna Pile Zelno.

He is survived by : his brothers, Ray, Fred and Harold (Emma); his sister-in-law Diane Pile; and his nieces and nephews, Kevin Pile, Cynthia Horn, Sharon Pugh, Jill Havas, Bonnie Weaver, John Friedline, Lori Sanford, Paula Yurasek, Eric Friedline and Joel Pile.

Due to COVID-19 restriction, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
