Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ruth Ann Wallinger of Lavale, Maryland, born in West Bend, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 76, on September 26, 2020. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Reuben Wegener and Vivian Wegener (Laning); her husband Michael Wallinger; her children, Jonathan Wallinger (Karen Hernandez) and Kirsten Wallinger-Vijil (Humberto); her granddaughters, Josephine, Ella and Phoebe Wallinger; her brother Kenneth Wegener (Geraldine); and her niece Beth Wegener.
Due to COVID-19 a private funeral service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to either Christ Lutheran Church, LaVale, MD, or The Frostburg State University Foundation in support of the Ruth A. Wallinger Leadership Studies Scholarship.
