He was predeceased by : his father John T. Courtney Sr.; his spouse Ceclia Agnes Clarke; his daughter Nancy Ciancio; his siblings, James Courtney, Doug Courtney, David Courtney and Mary Louise Goodman; and his granddaughter Becky Gould.
He is survived by : his siblings, Thomas Courtney (Julie) and Joann Thompson; his children, John Kenneth Courtney (Iva) of Scotland, MD and Judy Courtney of Scotland, MD; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Smailes (CJ), Blaire Obney, Brooke Obney, Douglas Cooksey, John Cooksey, Ben Ciancio (Caroline), Brandy McKelvey (Rich) and Melissa Courtney. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
