It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Mitchell Ferguson Sr. of Mechanicsville, Maryland, who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ferguson and Mildred Ferguson; his siblings, John, Edward, Philly and Patsy; and his daughter Kim Tucker.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Bowles (Larry), Joe Jr., Donna Irons (John), Michael (Theresa), Robert, Kimmy Lumpkins (Keith) and Billy Tucker (Laurie); and his siblings, Francis "Fergie" and Edna. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 9 great-children, 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home (41590 Fenwick St, Leonardtown, MD 20650). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
