She was predeceased by: her father George R. Norton; and her children, Angel Carter and Antonio Perkins. She is survived by: her mother Joyce M. Norton; her spouse Venari Perkins; her son Alex Perkins of Lexington Park, MD; and her siblings, Ronald Cooke of Washington, D. C, Michael Cooke of Washington, D. C and Robin Cooke of Washington, D. C. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
