She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Canfield (Emerson); her son Howard Ray, Jr.; her nephew Benjamin Frankin Canfield IV; her siblings, Mary Catherine Cattlett, Kenneth Wayne Canfield, Benjamin Franklin Canfield, III, Herman Yowell and Ellen; her son-in-law Charles W. Smoot, Jr.; her granddaughter Ashley Shrader; and her great grandchildren, Toby Allen Shrader II and Jordan Rae Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Rosalyn Mary Smoot, Rhonda Rae Shrader, Robert, Ranae Abrenda Kesecker and John; her stepson Walter Lee Jones, Jr.; and her siblings, Dennis Elsworth Cansfield, Connie Mae Van Sickle and Wanda Lou Pennypacker. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
