He is survived by: his brother Bobby; his wife Tina Simms; his daughters, Michelle Rawlings (Randy) of Lusby and Mary Simms of Lusby; his grandchildren, Erica Rawlings, Sean Rawlings and Jackson Rawlings of Lusby; his father James Simms, Sr. of Lusby; and his siblings, James Simms, Jr. of Delaware, Judith Thayer of West Virginia and John Simms of Florida.
