She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Armwood, Sr. and Lola Holden-Armwood; the father of her children Morris E. Cotton, Sr.; her sons, Morris Cotton and Timothy Cotton Sr.; her grandchild Shaniki Roy; and her siblings, Herbert Armwood, Jr., Oscar Armwood, Edward James Armwood, Garfield Armwood, Beatrice Hayward, Elizabeth White, Mary Cottingham and Lola Harris.
She is survived by: her sons, Anthony Cotton Sr. of Westover, MD, James Cotton, Sr. of Manokin, MD and Maurice Cotton Sr. of Westover, MD; and her sister Mae H. Card of Westover, MD. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
