She was predeceased by : her parents, Jimmie Lee Davis and Earline Davis (Timmons); her husband Clifford Lee Chalk; and her siblings, Hattie Mae Johnson, Linda Sue Hunter, Cleveland "Slay" Davis of Lewis and Jimmie Lee Davis Jr..

She is survived by : her daughters, Teshia Rebecca Davis (Williams) and LaToya Melissa Chalk; her grandson Taison Nasir Davis; her siblings, Bernice Lucas (John), Catherine Williams (Leroy) of Meriden, CT., Harmon Davis (Hazel) of South Carolina and Ulysses "Mickey" Davis (Gayle) of South Carolina; her siblings-in-law, Mattie Ruth Davis, Rosalie Thorpe, Janese Bolden, Goldie Ann Davis, Linda "Yvonne" Chalk-Watts of Maryland, Edmund Chalk and Warren Bolden, Jr.; and her close friends, Betty Haskins, Rosella Sharpe, Ruth Williams and Serena Jackson of Connecticut. She is also survived by her girls, son-in-law and grandson.
