With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ann Elizabeth Godfrey (Marydel, Maryland), who passed away on August 14, 2018 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Milton; her sister Joetta; her son Joseph; and her grandsons, Kenneth and Stephen.

She is survived by : her brother William G. Smith (Caroline); her sons, George Jr. (Sharon) of Greensboro, Gerald (Cathy) of Marydel and Thomas (Martha) of Denton; and her daughter-in-law Rose Godfrey of Maryland. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
