He was predeceased by : his parent William W.; and his sisters, Elizabeth Rayner and Jean Hudson. He is survived by : his parent Mary Hudson Truitt; his children, Omer Truitt (Patti) of Marydel, Gwen Cecil (Jeff) of Marydel and Jay Truitt (Sandi Nickerson) of Marydel; and his brothers, Arthur C. of Millsboro, Virgil F. of Millsboro and Melvin D. Truitt of Millsboro. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
