She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Blackistone and Agnes Mason Blackistone; her sister Brenda Williams; her niece Tonya Blake; and her nephew Kevin Williams.

She is survived by : her sister Jennifer Brown (Eli); her niece Tiye Ray-Drewrey; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Wayne Mills, Jr., Dennis Allen, Jr., Janae Blake, Jamarea Allen and Destinee Mills; her nieces and nephews, Jenifer Brown, Jonathan Brown and Chamberlain Drewrey; and her cousins, Francis Diggs and Sarah Blackistone Richardson. She is also survived by two great-great-nieces and two great-great-nephews.
