She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Alan and Beulah Pearl Whaley; her husband Byron Phillips; her children, Jasmine Sneed (David) and Brandon Phillips; her grandchildren, Kayden and Ariya Sneed; her grandmother Jude (Bryan); and her brothers, Jim Whaley and Scott Whaley (Donna). She was also cherished by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Global Awakening, a ministry dedicated to "awaking the world to the goodness of God".
